Welcome to the simple streaming solution running on the Raspberry Pi Zero. With Audio-PI you can have a cheap standalone internet radio player, or you can use it as a player of your own music collection.

Audio-PI consist of this main hardware components:

Code

Audio-PI is running on minimal image based on Debian Stretch named as Raspbian Lite. The core app is used MPD (Music Player Daemon) as a flexible, powerful, server-side application for playing music.

Web Interface

Audio-PI is controlled via web fronted based on ympd. YMPD is a lightweight web client that runs without a dedicated webserver. It's tuned for minimal resource usage and requires only very litte dependencies.
